What are the best casino games to play for beginners?
If you’re a newbie to casino gaming, can anyone recommend some simple, cheap games to get you up to speed? Easy to play, low-cost games that provide a decent chance of striking it lucky. Which are the best games for novices – slots, blackjack, roulette, or another option? What kind of games are best for learning the ropes, and what games would you have preferred to begin your casino experience with?

If you’re new to casino games, I recommend slot machines. They have no strategy to master, and you can start by putting pennies into them. Try your hand at Blackjack – you have nearly a 50/50 chance of winning if you know how to play. Just follow the basic strategy chart. Roulette is another option, although the probability of winning is lower (and the odds favor the house). Baccarat is also relatively easy, as long as you bet on the banker. The house takes home only around 1% of your money, and it’s a fast-paced game. Avoid the more complicated table games like craps, which have a lot of rules. Instead, start with the games that will teach you the most without requiring much expertise. Trust me, you’ll be an expert in no time! When I began playing, I started with slot machines, because they were the least intimidating. Look for tables with minimum bets, and always set a spending limit. That way, you won’t get frustrated if you lose – which you probably will, until you get the hang of things. Stay relaxed and you’ll have a better chance of staying in the game longer!
I would do slots first – they’re just fun, you can play however long you like, and the minimum bet can be very low. Next, I would play roulette – it’s flashy and exciting, and you basically just put money on red/black and even/odd. After that, I’d try blackjack, which is a little more complicated but is pretty easy to learn if you understand the rules around when to hit, stand, etc. I think I would play the slots first, then maybe some roulette, and then eventually move over to blackjack. Play within your means, don’t make big bets, and do it for entertainment! My suggestion would be to start with the simplest game, and get the hang of it. Remember, the point is to have fun, and learn how the games are played, rather than trying to win big right away. Start slow, and play wisely!
