Should I clean my GPU if it's running hot during casino games?
I I have a gaming PC with an AMD APU. I play games such as World of Warcraft, Starcraft II, Team Fortress 2, etc. Should I clean the dust from the APU?

Yes, you should clean it. Dust accumulates and interferes with ventilation and cooling. If your AMD APU is overheating while playing casino games or World of Warcraft, that means dust is having an impact. Heat can lead to slowdowns, crashes, and eventually hardware failure. You don’t need anything special – just turn off, unplug, remove the side access panel, and blow out or brush out the dust. Pay attention to around the APU and fans. Let everything air-dry before plugging it back in. Check the intake vents and make sure they are clear. With all those heavy-duty games such as Starcraft II and Team Fortress 2, you want your computer to be functioning properly. Performing this maintenance every few months is a good practice. You’ll be glad you did.
Yeah, cleaning your APU is a good idea when it is heating up in a casino game (or any other game for that matter). Dust accumulates, blocks your fan vents, and affects cooling. Your AMD APU is working hard in games such as World of Warcraft and Team Fortress 2; just blow the dust out a couple times a year, use some compressed air on the fan and heatsink. That should help both speed and noise output.
