Can anti-cheat software cause crashes in casino games?
Anyone else get crashes in casino games they suspect come from anti-cheat? And does anyone know if this is a widespread problem or if there’s just some way to stop it?

Yeah, that’s totally possible. It’s like when a house alarm gets triggered by a bird landing on the windowpane. It does happen from time to time and people have reported it online. You should definitely try disabling your anti-cheat (if you have one and can disable it) to see if that fixes it, as well as ensuring your game and graphics drivers are all up to date. Some of these anti-cheats are notoriously intrusive, EAC and BattlEye in particular. If this doesn’t fix it, try contacting their support with information about the crash, they may have a patch. Though disabling the anti-cheat entirely could get your account flagged if it detects cheaters. Good luck and let me know what you find!
Of course, anti-cheat can cause problems too. I’ve seen reports of crashes caused by it in other games besides casinos. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen. The worst problem is when anti-cheat is overly sensitive and tries to kill legitimate processes. To avoid crashes, keep your OS and drivers updated, and look at the casino’s support pages to see if there are any known problems. Some people have also found that running the game as an administrator or disabling certain background processes while gaming helps.
