How do I tweak AMD settings for better visual quality in casino game demos?
hey guys, I am looking to optimize my AMD graphics card for casino game demos. How are you folks getting good visual quality without taking a big hit on performance? Any hints or tricks for casino games specifically, or just in general with demo environments?

These demo games are less demanding than 3D titles, but still have a lot of eye candy. In Radeon software, set the app profile to “casino game” or “demo”. You can set the power mode to “preferable performance” (if you want a little more oomph). Under image settings, turn on anti-aliasing (MSAA is acceptable) if your card can use that setting. Ambient occlusion makes the setting look more realistic. Enable texture filtering and anisotropic filtering. Maximize draw distance and shadows. If you’re experiencing stuttering reduce the target frames per second in Radeon just slightly higher than the frames per second you’re actually getting. Reduce the VSync to eliminate tearing. Set the resolution and graphics quality (in Radeon) to high or ultra. Set the same resolution and graphics quality within the game itself. Quality settings vary by casino game; try starting with a graphics setting of “high” in the game itself and go from there.
For best results with casino demonstrations, set your AMD graphics card to “Balanced” or “Quality” presets and adjust only anti-aliasing and texture filtering (medium and high, respectively). Leave shadows and ambient occlusion at their default “Low” levels to ensure fast frame rates. In-game graphics settings should follow a similar pattern, where you prioritize certain visual attributes while keeping down others to improve performance. You most likely won’t need maximum quality graphics settings with casino demos, so use eye candy selectively and let the other settings ensure smooth frame rates. Remember to utilize the Radeon Software’s various presets and game profiles for more fine-tuned configurations.
Casino gaming demos do not require high-end rendering, but if you need that additional level of graphical quality, tweak AMD features such as enabling Radeon Anti-Lag to reduce input lag and using Radeon Image Sharpening to improve image quality. Increase resolution scaling if necessary to ensure high performance. Use Ultra Quality settings for post-processing effects, as you should be able to run it without dropping frames. Do not overuse shadows or textures, as casino games do not use them. Let the game render naturally and keep your user interface simple. Make adjustments in small increments, and check often! Good luck.
Most casino demos are not all that demanding, so you can safely increase the visual quality quite a bit: In AMD Software select high for Power of 2 Texture Filtering, medium for Anti-Aliasing, and enable Enhance Contrast and Auto-Adjust Color. Most casino demos run fine with these settings. Make sure you are using the latest drivers as well. You will have better looking graphics with no perceivable impact on performance. Tweak further depending on your taste.
