Can someone explain the rules of [specific casino game] in simple terms?
Hello everyone, first time poster. I’m interested in learning to play [name of casino game], could somebody please post an explanation of the rules somewhere? I don’t need any of that “double up and split” crap, just a straight forward: how do you play, how do you win, and why is this game entertaining? Thank you!

The game is called 21, or blackjack! How to play? The dealer deals you two cards face up, he gets one face up and one face down. The cards count according to the numbers indicated, J, Q, K = 10, Ace = 1 or 11. You try to beat the dealer by getting a total of 21, or as close as possible to 21 without exceeding it. If you have a perfect 21 with your first hand (a blackjack), you collect 3/2 at most casinos.
You either stop (“stand”) with the cards you have or draw another card from the deck (“hit”). If you go over 21, you lose (“bust”). The dealer must continue drawing until their hand totals at least 17. If the dealer goes over, or if your hand is closer to 21 than theirs, you win.
Why bother? Getting the better of the house is just so satisfying, and the game is easy to understand with few variables. A little basic arithmetic and a sense of when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em, that's all you need, and it's no wonder blackjack is a favorite pastime in casinos everywhere. Give it a try and you'll be hooked. Don't forget though; the house always wins in the long run, which only makes things more interesting. Keep it simple. Cheers!
newbie, don’t blame yourself. Here’s how it works: you and the dealer aim to be as close to 21 as possible without going over. You’re dealt two cards, the dealer one (face up). You choose whether to stand or “twist” (get another card) depending on what you have in your hand. The dealer must keep drawing until reaching 17. Place your bet before the hand begins, collect your winnings if you beat the dealer. Simple arithmetic with an element of skill that pays off. Take it easy, mate.
In craps, each player bets that the shooter will roll a 7 or 11 on the “come-out roll” (a “pass line” bet), or will not roll 2, 3, or 12 (“don’t pass”). If the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then that number becomes his/her “point. ” He/she continues to roll until either he/she rolls his/her point (and you win if you made a pass line bet) or he/she rolls a 7 (and you lose if you made a pass line bet). The game is exciting because you get caught up in the action at the table, and also because it goes really quickly; no strategy required. Just throw the dice!
blackjack means two cards. You want to get nearer to a score of 21 than the dealer does, without busting (i. e. exceeding 21). An ace can be worth 1 or 11, a face card 10. You either hit (draw another card), or stand. When you come out on top against the dealer, you get paid at odds of 1: 1. It’s fun because it involves trying to outwit the dealer by making only a few decisions. And if you play right, you can hit it rich. It really is nothing but elementary arithmetic plus a little courage.
