What’s the best time to play without a long queue on [site]?

When is the best time of day to play [site], with no waiting? It seems like during the day there are too many people playing. Is there some time in the day where there are fewer people, so i can make the most of my gaming time (playing, reading the wiki, posting on boards, etc) with no time wasted?

Finally, if you’re looking to avoid hordes on [site], hit it at night (midnight to six am) when most normal folk will be catching some z’s. Or weekdays when no one will be around (like from nine am to five pm). If you’re not too picky about when, consider Tuesdays and Thursdays at night, and Fridays and Saturdays in the morning for a nearly crowd-free experience! And when you need that grind on, check out the 11pm-2am slot: most servers will have minimal lag and load times then. Of course, this will depend on time zone if your group is international, but you’ll be amazed how much more enjoyable things are with fewer people online. Game smarter, not harder.

Avoid playing from 10 AM until 2 PM during the week, as people with day jobs will be at their offices, and avoid playing between 11 PM and 1 AM on weekends, when serious gamers will be tired. That way you'll have more time to browse the wiki, visit forums, or talk to other players without having to wait for an opponent for too long.

Avoid peak times. Try very early or very late in the day/night. The site is always more active on weekdays than on weekends. For a quiet experience, go between 2 and 5 am, or 4 pm on Sundays. There will be more servers available to you, and fewer players on the forums. At 3 am, I only ever see about 100 players online. The site’s online counter will give you an indication of the level of activity on the site before you log in.

In my opinion, week-days from 10 am to 9 pm are not good. Weekends are terrible. It's often really hard to make progress. The morning is the best part of the day if you are a fan of forums and wikis. You will have more time and you will waste less nerves. Try to pick a time when you can focus on your game without interruptions. Just avoid the period between 12 and 1pm! Have fun!
