Game Wiki says DLC is compatible but it won’t work. Why?

casino game is not recognizing my DLC even though the Game Wiki says its compatible. Anyone else having problems with this? Is it some kind of conflict or am I running the wrong version of the game?

I’ve had that. It may say that the DLC is compatible. But make sure you have the correct game updates downloaded. Some DLC requires a certain patch. Check the patch notes to see if there is a patch for the DLC. I would recheck that the DLC was installed correctly. Sometimes DLC needs to be activated through the launcher and some DLC just doesn’t show up. On PC, check the integrity of the game files in Steam or wherever you downloaded from. Sometimes there can be a conflict with other software and that causes conflicts with DLC or patches. Try reinstalling the DLC. There are also official forums, Reddit, etc. where people discuss these problems.

Then, check that you have the correct version of the casino game. DLCs are version-dependent: they might not work unless you have the minimum version installed. Look at the DLC release notes and check what version you need of the casino game itself. Corrupt game cache can also lead to this error. Redownload and verify the integrity of your files from the platform (Steam / Origin). If all else fails, and the DLC is working for other people, then most likely you’ve done something wrong or don’t have the correct version of the casino game.

First, make sure you’re playing the correct version of the game and entered the right DLC codes. Next, restart the game. Still not working? Maybe it’s a patch issue. Check the installation order on the wiki. If not there, contact support. If support can’t help, submit bug report.

DLC problems are generally version-dependent. You need to ensure that you have the correct version of the main game and an uncorrupted version of the DLC in question, after which you should try reinstalling the DLC, or even the entire game. Sometimes conflicts with mods or other downloaded content arise. You can test this by rechecking the integrity of the installation files through Steam or Epic. Other users have reported similar problems – perhaps the wiki information is out of date or the DLC needs updating? Check online forums.
