Are online casino payout rates really as good as land-based ones?
Are payouts at online casinos higher (or lower) than those at land-based venues? Do online casinos pay out as well as offline ones? It seems so, when we look at some figures and listen to casino customers. What do you think about this issue? Do online sites pay less to make up for the lack of atmosphere? Any evidence available?

Internet and land-based casinos have roughly the same payback ratio over time. You can’t beat the House Edge with any game on an Internet site, just as you can’t beat the House Edge in a physical casino. Maybe the RTP per game will vary somewhat.
For instance, an internet slot machine may have a higher RTP than one found in a land-based casino, simply because the latter has to cover the costs of real-world operations. However, brick-and-mortar casinos also offer a more exciting environment and other amenities.
So, I will reiterate my stance on this: be informed. If you decide to gamble – whether in a land-based or an online casino – learn the ins and outs of the game you are playing. And remember to research the game’s RTP beforehand too. It is never a bad idea for gamblers to do their homework.
In my experience, the payout rate for online gaming is quite similar to or even greater than that for brick-and-mortar casinos. Since online casinos have fewer expenses – no real estate, employees, and so forth – they can offer slightly more attractive payout rates. But again, every game, operator, and market has different rates, so you should review the Return to Player (RTP) percentages of individual games on websites.
