Based on my own personal experience, however, drivers can also cause this problem. Because you are using a Razer mic on Windows 10, you might check the Device Manager for available updates. Right-click Start > Device Manager > Audio inputs > Right-click Razer USB device > Update driver.

But first, look in the settings on the streaming website you’re using - many have their own mic selection. Also verify that your mic is selected in Windows Sound Settings. I’ve had more than a few audio hiccups during live streams myself. You might also want to try uninstalling and reinstalling Razer Synapse. But remember to reboot afterwards. Happy poker streaming!

Okay, yeah! Good first step. Razer headsets are known to be a bit fussy. I’d go to Razer’s website and download new audio drivers for that headset. And then, in Windows sound settings, make sure your microphone is set to the default one. If that fails, try using a different browser or restart your computer. A cold boot will often fix audio issues. Hope this helps and you start hearing yourself again soon!

First things first: try using your mic outside of Streamlabs OBS. Does it work when you chat in Discord? Does it work in System Preferences > Sound > Input? If not, try updating the Razer driver with something from the Razer website. If it does work, go to the website’s Permissions page and make sure the site is allowed to use your mic – and that you haven’t turned the volume down all the way. Also, try choosing a different input device under the Settings tab in your browser (click on the three dots in the upper right corner of Chrome, for example). Maybe give those a try and then panic.

Yes, make sure those audio drivers are up to date. Razer microphones tend to be sensitive to driver updates. Visit Razer’s website for the latest software, ensure proper microphone permissions on the website, and try another browser. If all else fails, use Windows Audio Troubleshooter or Discord’s built-in microphone test. Cheers! 🍻
