Why does my headset crackle every time I spin the slot machine in-game?
When my avatar spins the slot machine, why do I hear a static noise in my headset? Is it something wrong with how the game interacts with my sound configuration, or is there a technical glitch? It seems to happen during the spinning but nowhere else. Anyone else had similar problems? Is there a workaround available?

Based on your explanation, my guess would be that the game engine is temporarily overriding my audio settings while the slot is spinning. I believe I have experienced this in other games, and it seems to happen when there is some sort of audio overlay or effect occurring. Perhaps the slot machine sound is somehow conflicting with my game audio mixer and causing a buffer to drop.
You should also check the game’s sound settings for a “3D audio” or similar setting, turn it off, and see if that fixes it. You can also set the game to run in exclusive mode in your sound settings (which allows the game to take full control of the sound card). That usually solves this kind of weirdness.
A Other players have also complained about crackling slots and roulette tables during online casino play. You might want to check with other headsets or launch the game in windowed mode if the problem continues.
You can hear that crackling during the spinning? It sounds like a game audio glitch to me. Make sure there are no other sources of static coming from your headset, and then run the game on a different computer to see if the noise persists. If it does, that’s a game problem; if it doesn’t, your audio settings may be messed up. Try reinstalling the audio drivers just in case. I’ve encountered this before in other online casino games; they usually fix it.
