What does a Vulkan error mean for someone who isn't tech-savvy?

Help! Getting a Vulkan error when trying to play in my favorite online casino – what is that and why did it happen?? Is it because of my PC or something? How can I get it fixed so I can play again?

So Vulkan is essentially the interface between your computer’s software and its graphics hardware. You’re getting an error because they don’t seem to be communicating correctly. Don’t worry, it’s not a virus, it’s most likely just a driver issue. First thing, check and update your graphics drivers. Then, try lowering the graphics in the game. Failing that, restarting your computer might do the trick. If not, the online casino will be able to help you with their specific game. The solution is very likely to be simple, but I understand how annoying this must be at a time when you are eager to start playing. It’s going to be perfect again tomorrow once the drivers are updated. Good luck!

A “Vulkan error” occurs whenever the game software and the computer disagree about how to render the graphics on screen. These errors are typically the result of the game’s hardware requirements exceeding what the player’s machine (usually due to outdated graphics drivers) can deliver. Fixing these errors often requires downloading new graphics card drivers, as that works for the majority of players; however, contacting the casino’s customer service department to inquire about whether the game has an “off” setting for the advanced graphical features is also common. As a last resort, many players choose to play on another computer or device.
