Is there a way to avoid crashing when switching tabs during gameplay?
Anyone else have your browser crash when you switch tabs mid-game on casino websites? I want to log strategies in the wiki and talk about some of my games in the forum, but the crashes are annoying. Is there any way to stop them??

Well, that’s irritating! – I’ve had that happen to me as well. Since gambling websites tend to load lots of script-heavy animation and real-time betting tools in the background, most browsers will either stop or slow down the processing of any such script when they lose focus.
If you don’t want this to happen, try not to change tabs while playing. If you must, then shift back as soon as possible. You can also pause the game if there’s a pause option. Using a recent version of Chrome or Firefox helps minimize the problem too.
Advice #2: Open two browser windows side-by-side rather than tabs. The game in one, the wiki/forum in the other. That way, you won’t lose your spot in the game thread if you have to jump back and forth.
I hope this has been helpful. Have fun!
Yes, browser tab switches during gameplay can cause problems. Just be sure to pause or take a quick screenshot before switching tabs, and keep background apps closed so you don’t run out of RAM. Try Firefox or Microsoft Edge instead of Chrome (which tends to crash more easily). Many games and websites let you disable tab-switching to pause the game automatically. Look for it in the game settings or the website FAQ. It’s easy: play, pause, go. Take care.
