Why is my casino game giving a "mod not found" error?
Hello, peeps! So I’m trying to run a casino mod for my favorite game. The problem is every time I try to load it, I get this “mod not found” message. I looked at the mod folders, opened the JSONs, and tried reinstalling but still no luck. Has anyone else ever had any trouble with casino or slot machine mods? How do I resolve this? Thank you so much!

First, confirm that the JSON is where it’s supposed to be – for example, Mods/CasinoMod/CasinoMod.json – and not one level deeper. Check that the mod ID in the JSON corresponds exactly with what the game wants: copy it directly from the mod’s description if necessary. Do you have any required co-installed mods? Some casino mods depend on others. Go read the mod’s description and look under Requirements. Finally, try reinstalling the mod using the game’s in-built mod manager. If you used a third-party tool, uninstall that and then reinstall the mod manager. If none of this helps, post your mod folder (if anonymizing is necessary, feel free to do so) along with the error itself in the mod’s discussion thread. Someone will tell you “oh yeah, you need to install X and Y” or “hey dude, you have a typo in line 37. ” Hope that helps! May the RNG gods smile upon you!
Bruh, it’s probably an issue with either the mod file or the installation directory. Make sure that your mod is located in the right directory. Check the JSON file for any spelling errors – mods are pretty case sensitive. If you’re using a mod manager, disable it and install the mod directly into the game’s directory. And make sure the mod is compatible with your game version. Just reinstall the game and install the mod one at a time. If none of this works, just ask the maker of the mod on his/her thread/Discord.
Hooray.
Does the mod work on my game version? I’ve had mods that stopped working after an update. Did you check the mod’s page for any mention of which versions it works on? Also, did you install it into the right folder? Some games have several folders called “Mods”. Try emptying your game’s cache first. If all else fails, try another mod or ask the mod’s creator for guidance. Good luck! Anything else I can help you with? 🎰
