Gameplay-wise, windowed mode doesn't change the outcome of any casino games; the RNGs are chugging away either way. Windowed mode might actually be a good option for poker players who still need to check their email or do other stuff while they play. There are tons of professional players who swear by full-screen poker, but it's also perfectly reasonable to play in windowed mode. Ultimately, the best mode is whatever you're most comfortable with. If you can balance your attention between poker and other tasks, you probably won't notice any difference between modes. In poker, what matters most is your brain, not the size of your monitor. Playing in windowed mode will have no effect on your chances of winning (the house has an edge regardless).
