What should I do if I hit maintenance mode while playing a live game?
I The site was down while I played a game in real time – what should I do now? Was my game saved? Anyone else experienced this?

Here's the first thing: Sorry about that! It stinks when you're playing and the casino goes into maintenance mode. Legitimate online casinos will usually save your session automatically; however, it doesn't always work. Log in and check to see if your last bet is recorded in your account history. If you were playing a live dealer game, you likely have no problem. On the other hand, if you were going for a progressive jackpot, you may be out of luck.
If you are concerned that you may lose progress or real cash, get in touch with us right away. It is very important to give us a call as soon as possible. Let us know the time of day and the name of the game you were playing. Also, if you can, please take a screenshot of what was happening on your phone.
I’ve been there before. Usually, these companies fix the problem. Just be prepared to share as much information as you can so that they understand what went wrong. Follow the company’s social media accounts – they usually announce when outages begin and issues are resolved. You’re not the only one suffering.
Don’t panic if you have to log off during the middle of a round. The site should automatically save your progress before the system goes down. Look at your transaction history. If the game you were playing is listed, you’re set. If not, get in touch with customer support immediately with the times and the game information. This happens, so don’t worry. And hold on to your proof (screenshot receipts are awesome). They will probably make things right as long as you aren’t an asshole. Don’t sweat it. Roll them bones!
Your play may not have been recorded if you lost internet connection during a game. Most casinos save automatically, so see if your account has updated. If not, email their support team immediately with the name of the game, time, and date. Other players have had the same problem, and some were given credits or free spins. Save any proof of login activity. Don’t give up – keep fighting.
But what if you are caught in the middle of a game when they go down for maintenance? Don’t worry about that. Most of these websites will save where you left off. Just log back into your account to see how far you got. If you’re not sure, contact them and ask if they have saved your game yet. It’s only downtime, and it’s not going to last forever. This has happened to me before, and all of my games were saved. Just wait until the site posts to let you know things are back to normal.
If you get kicked out of maintenance mode before your game is over, make sure to ask for a refund and/or that your progress is saved. Most online games will automatically save any in-play progress, but if not, then let them know as soon as possible about the outage and provide your game ID or the time of interruption. You’re not alone – others will have been affected, too, so try searching in the official forums. In all likelihood, though, your progress has been saved; most sites now take steps to ensure that this happens.
