High ping issues while playing online casino games – what can I do?
Hi all, I have a lot of ping when I play at online casinos. Anyone else? How to solve? I already checked internet speed. Some games are more affected than others? Thanks in advance!

Playing casino games with high pings is a major headache. Try browsing the Internet and see whether you have the same issue. If so, turn off your router or modem for a few minutes, then turn it on again. It’s worked for me!
If you’re playing an online casino game, the problem may lie with the casino’s server rather than your internet connection. See whether other online casinos have the same issue. Some games – particularly those involving a live-dealer – are slower than others, such as slot machines.
Try plugging in an ethernet cable if you’re connecting via wifi; the latter can cause latency issues. Disconnect any non-essential devices that are sucking up bandwidth.
Finally, reach out to the casino’s customer support service. It could be that there are technical problems on their end. Online gambling operators generally value the players’ experience and will be willing to help.
Online casino lag is irritating. Check that your device is directly connected to the internet (not wireless) and shut down any other applications that may be draining your Internet connection. If that doesn’t work, there may be an issue with how far away the casino’s servers are from you. Try another online casino or game. Not all online casino games are affected equally by lag. Some online casinos’ mobile devices have a mobile version which is designed to run well even with poor connections. Finally, get in touch with the online casino’s customer support team. They may have more advice for you. Hope this helps!
First, check that you are connected via cable, not Wi-Fi. If you are using Ethernet then change the DNS server to Google’s (8.8.8.8). Close other programs consuming too much internet traffic. If some games are more problematic than others, this could mean the game servers are located further away. See if you can play at casinos where the servers are nearer to you. Otherwise, contact their technical support - they may have advice for their own software.
