Can I transfer my casino game saves to a new device?

Hello, I have a new device coming up and want to know if it is possible to move your casino game saves from one device to another? Is it possible to move your casino accounts from one device to another as well? I have many many casinos and many many slots so am curious how many allow that feature. Thanks!

Sure thing, dude. You can definitely transfer save data across devices for most current-gen casino games. If it supports cloud saving using platforms such as Google Play Games or Apple iCloud, then you’re good to go; just log in on a new device! Alternatively, for non-cloud enabled titles, you may need to copy the local save files over from one device to another if both are running the same OS (from Android to Android, or iOS to iOS, etc.). In terms of individual casino games, most reputable operators will allow you to login to your account from multiple devices. You’ll want to look out for either an “online account” or “casino account”; these should work across all devices. Based on my experience, most online casino games have some form of cross-device capability, as gamers often switch between hand-held devices and PCs. I’d recommend browsing through individual games’ support pages (most will list out what forms of account linking they support).

Since most online casinos have tied all of your accounts together via your account, your points, chips, and game history should transfer over automatically once you log into the casino on your new phone or computer. If you are using local versions or mobile downloads of casino games, you may have to manually export/import your save files. I would suggest that you back up your data now and contact customer service at each casino for instructions. You should be ready to go!

The good news is that most online casinos do not save games locally, so as long as you use the same login credentials, you can access your saved games from any device. You may want to confirm whether the casino stores saves on their servers or offers a method for downloading them directly; otherwise, the casino likely uses cloud storage and syncing across devices will be automatic. In the case of slot machines, there is often no need to save a game at all, as the casino keeps track of your game progress through your account. Test this by logging into both computers. I hope this information is helpful!

Luckily, most online casinos store your progression on their servers – it’s not “on the phone”. So just signing into your account should give you access to where you left off. That said, some casino apps may require you to download the exact same app version you had on your previous device. I encourage you to visit individual casino’s help or FAQ page to see their instructions for transferring to a new device. In my experience, the major online casinos are pretty good about offering this support.
