Is it worth using NVIDIA G-Sync for casino gaming, or is it more for competitive FPS games?
We are going to open a casino with PCs. Should we go with NVIDIA G-Sync? I can see how it helps with FPS games, but what about poker, slot machines or roulette? Community feedback appreciated.

G-Sync? What do I need that for? We’re talking about poker, slots, and roulette. These games don’t require high FPS or low response times. The graphics are basic, the motions are slow, and the timing isn’t nearly as important. Just get a few refresh rate monitors that work reliably and aren’t too expensive. Most people won’t see what you’re doing anyway. Get the monitor with the right colors, the best picture, an ergonomic stand, whatever you can afford. It may look nice, but it’s not very useful. This is Vegas! The only graphics these people need is from the chips hitting their table!
G-Sync is relevant only for competitive gaming that requires high refresh rates. Poker and slot-machine players don’t need high refresh rates, so spending money on G-Sync technology would be throwing good money after bad. It won’t improve the casino experience for such games. Your customers won’t appreciate G-Sync, and they will be happy without it.
