Can controller drift affect online casino gameplay?
Anyone who has suffered from drifting controllers for their online casino experience with live dealers or slots? I’ve had it, so have others. It can make you accidentally bet, when you don’t intend to. Is it time to switch to another device?

Then there’s controller drift, which can really ruin your day at an online casino. Plenty of forum posts have been written by aggrieved gamers who accidentally placed a bet or spun the reels because their joystick moved on its own. On a slot machine, this is just annoying; in a live dealer game, it’s infuriating when you think your commands aren’t being followed.
I suggest changing controls. Default keyboard works best for me when playing casino games. If you wanna use a controller, re-calibrate it first. If that fails, buy a new controller. I have played many casino games and direct input is far superior when it comes to button mashing in those situations. Oh yes, I have witnessed many folks accidentally call all-in while their controller was drifting. That can get expensive fast.
I know that controller drift can feel annoyingly problematic when playing casino games, as any unintentional bet or button press can really throw things off. Personally, if you're experiencing this problem, I'd recommend switching to a high-quality physical keyboard or even a touch screen for the time being. What do you think?
It has happened to me before, especially when playing online slots. It’s frustrating, and makes for some funny stories on forums (accidentally betting double, reels spinning by themselves, etc). It happens mostly in video games, but anything with a similar joystick could have this problem. Consider changing devices or play with a touch screen if this keeps happening to you. Until that broken controller gets fixed/replaced, don’t risk your money on technical glitches.
