Can you recommend some reliable sources for learning about poker rules?

Greetings! I would be most grateful if you could point me toward online tutorials on how to play the various forms of poker - Omaha, Texas Hold'em, Seven-Card Stud, etc. We are compiling a database of references for our upcoming casino game forum.

Begin with the learning resources that the major rooms offer directly, such as PokerStars School or 888poker’s learning center. They have short video clips and interactive tutorials for each game type; very useful stuff. For more substance, try Red Chip Poker’s articles. It has excellent advice on cash play and tournaments. SplitSuit on YouTube provides entertainment while teaching some basic things such as pot odds and hand ranges. You can find discussions of literally any aspect of poker at the two-plus-two forums. That site has dominated the industry for over two decades. Finally, if you prefer a more formal approach, the How to Play Poker section of the WSOP website is a great resource. It includes printable rules sheets for a number of games. Basically, all forms of poker are similar; they differ mainly in the number of cards dealt and the timing of the betting and dealing. Which approach would suit your forum?

To learn poker rules, I suggest Upswing Poker and Red Chip Poker - both excellent resources for teaching every game. To get a bit more in-depth, SplitSuit and Modern Poker Theory are great. For short videos with step-by-step instructions, try watching Doug Polk or others on YouTube. Also worth checking out is Two Plus Two, which has a lot of discussion among experienced players. These sites deal with both learning and play, so they should be relevant to your community.
