Can changing my mouse sensitivity improve my performance in live dealer games?

should I change the sensitivity of my mouse while playing live roulette or blackjack? Can that help me play more effectively, or is it just a matter of taste?

Mouse sensitivity has no effect on live dealer games such as roulette or blackjack. There is no clicking or moving of the mouse. You are just clicking buttons. The dealer does all the rest.

Switching up your mouse could improve performance in first-person shooter games or strategy games that require fine motor skills. When it comes to live casino games, however, your mouse is merely one of several tools to select chips or click buttons on the screen. And in live casino gaming, experience, bankroll management, and having an exit strategy will always be more important than how sensitive your mouse is.

Of course, if you feel like clicking is easier in some other environment, fine; but don’t imagine that this will give you an advantage. You can get an advantage, though – learn the rules and master a few basic strategies, and make sure you stay calm the next time the dealer is forced to take that third card on a 21.

For most live casino games – such as roulette, craps, and blackjack – your mouse sensitivity has no bearing on how well you’ll play or how quickly you can place bets. So, if you find a different setting improves your clicking cadence or simply makes it easier to bet, go for it. But don’t expect any change in sensitivity to give you an advantage at the tables. It shouldn’t. Just remember that whatever setting you choose is comfortable.
