Why does my [Game Name] update keep getting stuck during download?
Hi folks, I’m having trouble updating [Game Name]. It keeps freezing on downloading. Anyone else have this problem? I've tested my bandwidth, started over a couple of times... Is it a server problem? My hardware? Please let me know if you've experienced this too, or if you have any solutions.

I've had this happen with games before. In my experience, it's rarely a hardware issue. Make sure that your firewall or antivirus isn't blocking the download. Try disabling it for a few minutes. Update at night, when the site isn't so busy. The servers can get overwhelmed. Clear your game cache (check the game's settings/help files). If all else fails, ask the game's support staff if there is any information in the logs that can help diagnose the issue. Please let me know if any of this works!
Your best option when you get stuck in this step is to wait and hope that it’s a temporary server issue. You might try later at night, if you suspect the servers are crowded due to high demand. In many cases, support will be able to verify whether anyone else has reported similar issues, whether there is a known server bug, or whether it is something related to your geographical location. Sometimes, simply restarting your computer or console, or rebooting your Internet router, solves the issue. And stay tuned to the official forums to see if they announce planned downtime.
That sounds like an issue with the server or your internet connection. Try reloading in the middle of the night when there are fewer gamers online and less traffic on the servers; clearing your game cache or reinstalling the game may also help. Check to see if other devices are using too much data. If none of this solves the problem, reach out to customer service – maybe their servers are down.
1. Use an Ethernet cable (better than wifi). 2. Server is probably overloaded right now. Wait a few hours and try again. 3. If you're on a gambling site with a standalone client, try updating your launcher as well. 4. If all else fails, check the game cache and clean it. 5. Ask customer service: sometimes they just need to restart the server back home. What's the result?
