Are there peak times when casino game matching is slower?

Hi all, have you ever played at a slot or live dealer match and felt like the pace was slow during busy periods? Is this due to a particular busy time frame, or is it just a coincidence? Just curious if there is an ideal time to play to avoid delays. Thoughts?

Yes, I agree. Some games – particularly live dealer games – do show peaks at certain times in which matches are faster. Casino traffic is higher in evening hours and on the weekends and so if you go to a table game or join a live dealer waiting line you will experience short delays. This doesn’t happen with slots, as they play immediately. If you want to avoid these, play midweek or out-of-hours. Early mornings are typically quiet. Also remember that casinos are 24/7 so what may be busy in one region is slow somewhere else. So yes, timing matters.

Yes, you’re right. There are busy days at land-based casinos, and there are busy days at online casinos. Live-dealer game chat rooms get congested, and slot machine opponents get harder to find. Busy days include nights and weekends. If you want to avoid the crowds, play during business hours, or on weekdays. With more space for your money, less people must be involved, right? This is just a matter of supply and demand.

Yeah, that’s not a problem during peak hours – particularly live dealers. Morning and evening are pretty much the busiest times, so you may have to wait for an open table. And slots can sometimes freeze around midday, due to software updates. So, if you want to avoid any slowdowns, try playing when there are fewer people online – early morning or weekdays are generally less busy. Try it now!

Slot and table game interruptions certainly seem much more annoying on weekends or during late evening hours when there are more people connected to the casino’s servers, and live dealers have more customers to attend to. Some casinos manage loads better than others. If speed is important to you, stick with workdays. I’ve had better luck playing between 3 p. m. and 5 p. m. weekdays. No promises, but you may as well try to reduce the frustration.
