What should I do if I notice a lot of input lag during a game session?

I’ve been playing on an online casino, and I’m experiencing lots of lag (for example: if I hit spin, there is a significant delay) is this normal? Who is responsible (my internet provider, the casino, etc)? Are there any games that don’t have this issue?

Delay in online gambling sites is not supposed to happen. It should be fluid. If the spin button that you click takes 5 seconds to react, there might be some problem with either your bandwidth, firewall or perhaps even the casino’s server.

Start by checking your connection. Are other websites loading normally? Test your bandwidth. Is it normal? If so, then the issue might be on the casino's end. Some online casinos are more reliable at handling traffic than others. If you still face problems, contact the casino’s customer support department. They will likely resolve the issue or provide alternative options.

For lower latency, consider using live dealers or simpler games (like slots). They typically have better performance than more complicated games. Alternatively, try playing during non-peak hours, when server traffic is lower. Failing that, there are many other casinos that offer silky-smooth experiences.

You should never experience lag in an online casino game, and it is more often the result of your internet connection, device, or software than of the casino. If it takes forever for a spin to land, here are some potential reasons why:

First of all, check your Internet connection. The lag may result from a bad or weak connection. Make sure that your connection speed is sufficient. If you are using Wi-Fi, try using a cable instead, if possible.

Finally, it could be the casino’s server configuration. If they have more users on their servers than they can handle efficiently, this will cause delays. If this continues, contact customer service. They should be able to investigate their own end of things and potentially move you over to another server.

The extent of the delay varies from game to game. A live-dealer roulette game, where a player sees a real person spinning the wheel and needs to enter their bets in time, will likely suffer more delays than a video slot machine. Avoid such interactive games if you want to play without glitches.

In any case, if the lag continues, don’t suffer in silence, my friend. Playing games can be enjoyable only when they respond as expected. Contact us for help.

Internet lag is not a thing when you’re at a casino. You may have shitty internet or the casino might have a slow server. If the rest of the internet works okay, it’s probably their server. Change browsers, change IP addresses, etc. The big majority of slots these days are pretty lag-free, try slots from reputable operators such as Netent or Microgaming. If it persists, contact the casino’s customer service or your internet provider to investigate what’s going wrong. Good luck! 🎰

You may experience lag. To begin, use a quality internet-speed-checker. If your connection is weak, you should ask your service provider for help. Otherwise, it’s most likely related to your casino’s servers or software. Different online casinos have varying levels of lag. Try to find live dealer tables with better latency. It might also be useful to switch to another browser or device. If none of these solutions work for you, let the casino know so they can try and resolve the issue.

The casino shouldn't let input lag occur. Lag can be due to poor web connection (check your speed), browser failure, or casino server issues. Change browsers/devices; take a speed test. If issue persists, report to casino customer service, which should resolve it. Some casinos have less lag than others: check the reviews, or play more basic games that require less animation such as slots or Roulette. What casino are you playing at? Perhaps others have experience.
