Is there a fix for when the game crashes right after launching?
Hey all, I finally got around to downloading an online poker game from the wiki list we found, but it crashes at startup for me. Is anyone else having the same problem or know of a solution? Re-installed and updated drivers, but nothing works. Anyone have any ideas?

Second, see if any of the other gambling games work. If they don’t, it may just be that your system needs tweaking. Right-click on the game’s icon, choose Properties > Compatibility, and try running the game under another version of Windows. The game may also require another level of hardware/software than listed on the wiki (which is often out-of-date).
If this doesn’t work, run it with administrator privileges (right click > Run as administrator). Windows UAC may block things.
If that doesn’t work, try a clean installation of the game (with the game’s cache/data folder purged). You may find a “reinstall” option listed under the game’s support menu. Also, check the poker game’s forums – other players might have solved the problem. Worst case, send a ticket to the developers with your specs. They’ve heard it all before. Good luck!
Alright, so game crashes on startup? Nice! So you’ve already re-installed and updated drivers, what’s next? Run as administrator (right click, Run as Admin) and see if you can change any regional or server settings on startup. Verify the game files with Steam if you’re using them. Otherwise, share your hardware specs and crash logs with your favorite developer on Discord or other support channels. Normally these sorts of errors are just caused by a permissions issue or server overload. If it ever works again for you, please let me know!
Try searching the game’s wiki for an update or patch. Run the program again with administrator privileges. Corrupt cache? Delete and reinstall. Still messed up? Visit the game’s website for support. The forums are a good place to start. If nothing works, perhaps your computer is underpowered. Try something else – we’ve all been in this situation. Another user probably experienced what you’re going through and solved it.
I'd try using the launcher to verify game files or downloading it with the wiki instructions. Then I'd check if there are any unlisted system requirements for the game. I might also try running it as administrator or disabling overlays (Steam, Discord). Otherwise, I'd go to the game’s official support community and post about this issue or ping the person who wrote the wiki entry. My guess is either a dependency issue or a config setting causing problems. Good luck!
