Why does game discussion get slower during casino site maintenance?

Why does our casino-games discussion board go quiet during scheduled maintenance? Are we not playing, or are we hoping that our games come back the same? What do you think?

maintenance is a time-out. Servers are down. Games are gone. People can't play around with ideas and experiment. The conversation dies. Folks jump to other forums or sites. When there's nothing to say, there's nothing to say. We don't want to play around with theories and guesses. Yes, we all hope that the servers come back the way we left them – fun and unbroken. It's like software updates. You want more stuff, but you also worry that it will break your current experience. Maintenance is scary. I know. Same here - FOMO when the servers are down. Once they're back? The chats go crazy -- so much pent-up frustration.

Maintenance is when the site needs fixing. People log out to take a break. They're still playing, but they're waiting for the game to restart! Some are coming online later, or are just taking a breather. We're still here. We’re waiting patiently, and we know they’ll be back! 🎰

The silence is deafening from the lack of opportunity for people to test new theories and to share their victories with others. It’s not that they’re waiting for the games, they don’t know what to say when the games aren’t running. It’s like going to a sports forum when your team isn’t playing or the league has a break. Your community will lose steam once the action stops.
