Why do some users get a black screen while others don't in the same game?

We're having a problem with some users not being able to view our casino games at all (black screen), and others are fine - anyone else have this problem? Or know how to fix it? Browser problem, graphics card, server error?

For starters, you’re not alone: many other mobile casino players encounter the same black screen problem. What causes it? Browser and device incompatibility; and potentially, technical difficulties on our end.

Second step is testing whether user has old browser (or a site blocker / antivirus) which interferes with game script. Ask them to try clearing cache or installing Chrome / Firefox. Also, some graphic cards don't support WebGL / OpenGL required by HTML5 casinos. Check if users use low-end GPU, or Windows 10/11 with out-of-date graphic drivers. Another clue is your CDN or server logs. Maybe you have latency from certain ISP or location, failed assets loading etc. You can also check if user has enabled hardware acceleration in his browser. Chances are you will find solution after eliminating problematic browsers/devices and updating dependencies. If that doesn't work, some test accounts may help you diagnose the issue.

Black screens suck. It’s often a browser problem. Check that the user is running a compatible browser, and ensure it’s updated. Ad-blockers or other security tools can interfere. Ask them to try another browser or computer. If that doesn’t work, it could be old video drivers. If just a few people are having problems, odds are it’s not your server. They should check their internet connection. Can I help with more detail?

If you get black screens, this is often a problem with the browser or user’s laptop/PC. Have the affected users switch browsers (or clear the cache). Some games rely on WebGL (so be sure that is turned on), and graphics drivers could also be problematic (ask your users to update them). If that fails, run the game from the same network on other laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones. If it works everywhere but for a few users, then there’s likely something wrong with their own computer configuration. Try a clean installation of the OS, or use a virtual machine, and see if that clears up the problem.
