Where are casino game save files usually stored on PC?
Hello fellow casino gamers! I’m wondering if anyone knows where the save files for their casino games are located on their computer? I need to take a backup before an update. Anyone had any experience with this? Which folders do you look in for game progress saves? Have you found anything specific to certain games?

Hi, gambler! Finding your save files is a pain in the ass, isn’t it? It all depends on who published the game and which platform you’re playing on.
Steam games: These are typically found in the Steam folder in LocalLow or Roaming, for example, at C:\Users\$YourUsername$\AppData\Roaming\ or Local\Low\Steam\steamapps\common. Note that you will need to make sure that you can view hidden files in order to reach the AppData folder.
The files associated with games from Epic or Ubisoft, for example, may be located in other folders. Look up the relevant information on their support pages.
Make sure to do a backup immediately after every gaming session, so that your saves will be saved as well. If you're not careful, they might slip through the cracks, and if that happens, you will waste hours of your life later on.
Tell me what app you’re playing and I can probably pinpoint it a bit better. Good luck! 🎰
Slot machines save your progress either in the installation directory (check the Saves or Data directories), or in your user profile’s AppData directory. It depends on the slot machine game. Sometimes it’s also saved in My Documents. Consult the game’s official support page or search for the game’s name to be sure where to backup.
Casino game saves are typically stored in the “Saves” or “UserData” folder within your game’s installation directory. If you can’t find them there, search your AppData folder (press Win+R, enter %appdata% and browse), where they’ll most likely be. Also check for cloud saves if applicable. Backing them up before an update is important. Good luck!
Casino game save files are usually stored in just a few places. Look in the game’s or casino software’s install folder. For Steam games, check Steam > userdata > [profile ID] > remote. Check My Documents or AppData. Search the whole computer for the game’s name or .sav/.ini files. Save a copy of the files beforehand before updates muck up your progress. Good luck backing up! If you still have trouble, let me know.
