Missing DLL error – does this mean my PC isn’t compatible with the game?

Hi guys. Every time I try to play a casino game it gives me a "Missing DLL" message. Am I using the wrong type of computer or what? anyone else had this problem in playing an online casino game?

A DLL error doesn’t mean your computer isn’t compatible. A missing DLL error is usually because of a corrupt file. You should first reinstall the game or the casino software. Then run a Windows System File Checker scan (type “sfc /scannow” into Start menu) and update Windows. If you’re playing using a web browser, clear your cache or use another browser. Some casinos only support newer computers, but this error likely indicates that your computer can play most games.

An error message about an absence of ‘DLL’ files on your computer? Don’t worry – this just means that you need to install or update certain other software programs like Visual C++ Redistributable or .NET Framework. Reinstalling the game or updating the necessary system software should do the trick. And always remember to keep your Windows up to date! If you cannot figure out how to fix the problem, look at the casino’s support pages or the game’s requirements; they generally provide very detailed instructions for solving this problem. Everyone has faced something like this before; don’t worry! Keep gaming!

A That just means you don’t have some software module your game needs to run, not that your machine isn’t up to it. Try reinstalling the game or its dependencies, or run the system’s file check utility. Lots of people get these messages; they’re usually easy to solve.

A The DLL error is a sign that you are missing one or more game files, rather than that you have an incompatible computer. This is normal after a partial install of a game or its patches. You can start by simply reinstalling the game. Then run a System File Checker (search for “cmd” and enter “sfc /scannow”). You may also want to install .NET Framework and Visual C++ Redistributable, since many games require them. Most likely, everything should work fine. Hope that helps!
