Oh boy! Missing DLLs. What a pain! Usually these are Windows libraries (dlls) not being installed. At first I'd suggest installing the latest MS VC++ Redistributable - https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe. You may also try installing the .NET Framework. This will add what Windows seems to be missing. But maybe some updates didn't get downloaded correctly. Maybe you don't have DX9/11? Try to find out with Dependency Walker which dll is really missing. Or you just downloaded a game on a fresh windows, and windows was not yet fully updated. Try also the Windows Update troubleshooter. You probably got one of those classic missing dependencies. Which game and dll do we talk about?

I’d guess you get a DLL error message because your computer is missing crucial software. The new Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft should fix it. And always check how recent your DirectX version is. If all else fails, run the game in Administrator mode – or even with Windows compatibility setting.

That missing DLL message should mean that there are some corrupt or missing windows/system files. Try updating Windows and the .NET Framework. If not, try installing Microsoft's Visual C++ Redistributable Package off their website. If you're still having trouble, try running a thorough virus scan because sometimes viruses can screw up parts of your system. If that still doesn't work, then I think that the game is either too old for your system, or there's something else wrong with it. Is there anything else you'd like to know?
