How do I fix mod conflicts when playing casino games?
Hello, I am currently working on a custom casino game mod but i was wondering how do one over ride other mods if it has mods in conflict? Any help would be awesome!

Hi! Mod conflicts suck! Remember to flag your casino mod’s files as priority in mod management programs, such as Vortex and Mod Organizer, so that you can control the file loading order.
Watch out for asset name or script duplication from another mod. When authoring a mod, try and avoid using file names that could be used by another mod. If you have strange bugs, check the console for error warnings - sometimes these will help identify the problem.
You can also play with your new mod alone the first time, just to make sure that it is working well by itself. Later on you can add other mods one by one and see if anything breaks.
If you need any more details on particular conflicts, let me know. I hope your casino venture works out!
Next, try disabling other mods until you find the source of the problem – a mod manager such as Vortex or MO2 can be handy and helpful here. Put your mod last in the load order. If certain assets are incompatible, then create an “override” file to overwrite them (always check what other modders have done if you’re struggling with this). Consult the mod’s wiki. Go on the game’s modding Discord; people there are absolute lifesavers. Test each new attempt to find which mod is the culprit. Be patient: mods are finicky, but ultimately doable.
